just got back from a short walk down the street from my new hotel (on ocean rd.) it's beautiful here. i'm just down the street from the undp office i went to yesterday morning - their building is the old american embassy. must be nice, huh?

Wow, doesn't look like anyone in that area is hurting for anything..pretty nice pad to be hanging in! good job on the photos!
well, most of the property in this neighborhood is owned by foreigners - for example this hotel is part of a south african chain. and there are a lot of other hotels and embassies - not very representative of the lifestyle of the average tanzanian!
